Locations for the Trilogy and other useful websites:
Though some of the images don't load, I cannot recommend this site highly enough: https://sites.google.com/site/youngindyfilmlocations/indiana-jones-film-locations .
It covers the three classic movies as well as all other Lucasfilm movie or TV incarnations of Indiana Jones Locations. The best website by far for Indy location hunters.
The Complete Making of Indiana Jones Book
J.W. Rinzler
Published by Del Rey (May 20, 2008)
A
book full of fantastic production pictures and behind the scenes
stories. Focuses very heavily on Raiders, with significantly less
attention paid to Temple of Doom and Last Crusade. Has the factual error
about Blenheim Palace being used for the book burning rally rather than
Stowe, which seems out of place considering the generally methodical
approach to the authors books (Having said that I dread to think what
errors lay in my blog). The transcribed interviews are mostly taken from
interviews given for the special features DVD release.
The Star Wars Archives Book
M.C. Vaz and S. Hata
Published by Virgin (1995).
Despite the title, also contains "The Indiana Jones Archives". It mainly focuses on props, models and artwork, but has some nice production stills and clues to where some locations could be found. For years, the only reliable source on where the rope bridge stood.
http://www.theraider.net/ An excellent resource for all things Indiana Jones. Though there are a few location errors: Under Raiders Locations it incorrectly states that the meeting hall at Indy's College is in San Rafael, it is Rickmansworth.
Under Temple of Doom Locations it states that the Royal Horticultural Hall is used for Club Obi Wan. The exterior was in Macau, and having visited both RHS Halls I was unable to match the interiors. I am pretty sure the Club interior was constructed at Elstree Studios.
Under Last Crusade Locations is states that Castle Brunwald is "Rheinland-Pfalz in the town of Mayan". Rheinland-Pfalz is actually a German State , though Castle Bürresheim, the actual location, is near the town of Mayan in the state of Rheinland-Pfalz.
http://www.indygear.com Has information in the Hawaii locations and, should you want to, is an excellent source for compiling your own authentic Indy costume. The site also has links to Club Obi Wan (the club that goes to Rickmansworth School), but there has been no real activity for some years.
http://www.indyfan.com/ Has some general Indy related features, though, again no activity for some years.
http://www.theindyexperience.com/ General Indy information, though nothing specifically focusing on locations.
http://theindianajonesarc.wix.com/indymag A new fan made magazine produced on a monthly basis. Some interesting articles, professionally put together with much love for the films and has included some detailed location guides. Could do without the sexist "eye candy" feature.
